Leonard is an engineer, manager, technical recruiter and business owner. For over twenty years, he has owned, staffed, and operated an executive search and recruiting firm specializing in senior scientists, engineers, technical consultants, project managers and senior executives for a variety of industries, particularly manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, general project management, utilities, and technical services. Prior positions include Group Vice-President of several materials testing, engineering, and consulting firms in the Middle Atlantic and New England regions. He directed all technical activities, and oversaw quality, marketing, financial and other business functions. He performed hundreds of product failure investigations for clients in the industrial, automotive, insurance, and legal sectors. Leonard began his professional career as a Product/Project Manager for Texas Instruments, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of electronics and specialty materials, and has authored several patents relating to composite materials. Throughout his career, Len has been actively and directly involved in all aspects of the employment process. He has personally written, reviewed and/or critiqued resumes and CVs of thousands of job seekers, and he offers keen insights into the expectations of hiring authorities in today’s job market. Len attended Carnegie-Mellon (Pittsburgh, PA) and Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI), earning B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering, respectively, and became certified as a Professional Engineer in Delaware.
