Bob comes from the education field, most recently as the Career Services Manager at Chancellor University, where he worked with students from a variety of backgrounds on their resume writing, interview skills and career goals. In addition to his work with students, Bob has contributed articles about using social media in the job search for the National Career Development Association and the Career Development Association of Australia, and also wrote a chapter on the subject for Welcome to Social Media, an e-book compiled by Social Media Club Cleveland. Bob has also has worked in IT with a specialization in Web design and editing, and is a Certified Internet Webmaster. He is also skilled in software training, particularly the LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice productivity suites. Always spell out acronyms on your resume that would not be considered common knowledge, particularly industry certifications. Keep in mind that you may be sending your resume to Human Resources first, and they may be unfamiliar with these acronyms.
