My experience with ResumeEdge was excellent from start to finish – the web site is set up beautifully for a first-timer researching whether to have their resume done professionally or not. My resume was out-of-control, 13 pages, and I could not reduce it down to a reasonable length. My opinion was that it was unsolvable, so I went for professional help via ResumeEdge with the conviction that the resume was probably beyond the expertise of a professional also. The resume writer that was assigned to me was terrific; she has a keen sense for what the reader of a resume is looking for and worked to instill that perspective and the discipline of conciseness that goes with that perspective in the ResumeEdge client, me. She started with a review of the Monster resume and then talked to me on the telephone for about 45 minutes. The telephone conversation was outstanding – it instilled the confidence in me that we could get the resume under control and that she was an outstanding professional. The telephone interview/conversation was followed by emails and resume-content oriented action items for me to fulfill. I honestly do not think I did a very good job with the action items she gave me but her professionalism, experience, communications skills, discipline, and ability to assimilate a lot of data down to a three-page resume that I was very pleased with. I thought I was beyond help with my resume, I had given up hope of anything reasonable, too much experience, too many projects, too much software and hardware engineering to convey, etc. ResumeEdge came to the rescue and my resume writer, God bless her, was great.
